Time is one of the easiest things we can give yet it is also one of the most mishandled, disrespected, and underrated things we have. Time is one of those things that all of us, at some point, must abide by. We’re given a time to clock in at work. If late, most times consequences will follow. We’re given a time to abide by for appointments of all sorts. There’sh a time limit to shoot the ball in basketball. The list can go on and on. But there is also a different type of time. A time that has no restrictions but is one of the most misused. And that is the time we spend with others. People, especially today, are dying suddenly and at alarming rates. One of the first things out of a family or friend’s mouth is usually “We were going to do so and so” or ”I wish I had more time with them”. We all get busy in life and daily responsibilities pull us different ways. But when was the last time you made an effort to spend time with someone, ESPECIALLY someone who wants to spend time with you? I am one of those people that don’t require much. I don’t ask for fancy things or a multitude of materialistic things. But I absolutely adore your time. I will do things that really don’t interest me if it means spending time with someone. What is it to give someone a little time to make their day? Think of how it would make you feel to have someone to be there for you when you need it. Pay attention to the signs of needed time before the signs are no longer there. Because even though time is one the easiest and most freely things we can give, it’s not something that’s guaranteed to always have. Give a little time to your family and friends today (especially those that long for it). You never know who might need and/or enjoy it the most!
Well It’s About Time!!!
