Lately, I've been praying for more patience and understanding. I've also been asking God to allow me to remain calm when faced with adversity and frustration. I'm learning that every single thing that happens in my life, happens for a reason.
Well, the other day, I kind of forgot about that. My job put me in a position that I didn't want to be in. It's not that I don't like this particular position but I was outside, in the cold, with no warning. Before I knew it, I was fussing and upset! I bundled up as best as I could and headed outside. Within minutes, I met someone and began carrying on a conversation that could take my business to higher heights. When I realized what was happening, I immediately said "God, I'm sorry and I thank you!"
Even though I didn't want to work outside because of the cold, I was "positioned" there for a reason. Because again, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON! Whether or not we understand it (or like it) at the time that it's happening, it's for a reason.
Life is full of lessons. It's up to us to ignore them, fight them, or learn from them.
