Lifting Weights

So, I've been told that if you want to improve your weight loss journey/goals, that you should incorporate lifting weights. Apparently, it can improve your muscle strength and help maintain flexibility and tone. In an addition to bettering your physical health, it can also improve your mental health.

This made me began to wonder, if lifting weights is so good for you, why don't we lift the weights of the world from our shoulders? Why do we continuously carry the burdens of life, others. and the world if we know it isn't good for us?

Lately, life has been very challenging. And though I try not to complain, I often feel like I'm drowning or being pounded into the ground because of the many weights on my shoulders. I chuck it up to being "life" but what happens when the weights become too heavy? How do I lift those weights?

When the burdens of the world are weighing you down, there has to be something to lift the weights. At some point, if you aren't careful, life will sit you down. And even though it may not look like it from the outside, the struggle of trying to hold it all can together can literally destroy you. It is a MUST that you have some type of outlet or stress reliever. You have to remember that you cannot control everything! If you are having financial struggles, look for programs that can possibly help you in the area that you are struggling in. If it's mental issues, there are some programs that offer free or budget friendly therapy sessions. If you are having family troubles, reach out to other trusted family members and/or friends.

For the sake of your physical, mental, and emotional health, please start lifting weights. The weight of the world can weigh you down.

Don't let it!
